For more than 90 years, our sister company, Snider Industries, has manufactured high-quality Southern Yellow Pine lumber in Texas. Pinecone Shavings grew naturally from that experience and from the Snider family’s desire for cleaner, more consistent and more economical animal bedding.
The family has also owned and shown horses in English and Western disciplines for more than 45 years. That firsthand experience shapes every bale we produce: clean, absorbent, low-dust, single-source pine shavings made with the needs of horses and their owners in mind.
